2017 Aug 20 - Seafood Cajun Boil

I am totally obsessed with the Cajun Seafood Boil.  It is surprisingly simple to make:

Choice of seafood, I usually go for:
- 2 lbs of shrimp, and
- 1 box of mussels, and
- a couple potatoes (cut up)

If available, you can add all kinds of others: Crabs, Lobsters, Corn, Cauliflowers

I pre-cook all the seafood and potatoes, so I just need to mix them in the Cajun sauce later.

Cajun sauce:

- 3 sticks of butter (I usually only do 1 stick, but add some oil)
- 1.5 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp Lemon Pepper
- 2 tbsp Paprika
- 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Chili Powder
- 2 tbsp Cayenne
- 2 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning

Heat up the butter with the garlic, add the lemon juice and some water, add 2 tbsp of sugar.

Mix in all the rest of the dry ingredients. Cook and stir for a few minutes.

When the sauce is done, pour in the pre-cooked seafood and MIX.  DONE!
