Balboa Park is located right next to the San Diego Zoo, and this place is full of surprises (lots of museums). We picked to see the Model Train Museum, ride the miniature train, and visit the Spanish Art Center.
1) There is a free green trolley that will take you to different stops in Balboa Park. Save some walking.
2) Bring a stroller, this place is pretty stroller friendly.
3) Grab a shaded table next to the water fountain. It has a great view comparing to sit inside a restaurant.
