2019 Feb 9 - Old San Juan (Puerto Rico), Food

We flew into San Juan the day before the cruise.  The airBnB we booked is in old San Juan area.  It is not fancy, but has all the basic things we need, plus the location is great.  Restaurants, shops, and markets are all within walking distances.

That night, we went to restaurant "El Jibarito", located in Old San Juan, 280 Calle Del Sol.

The turnovers and rice are so good, we ordered them to go the next day before the cruise.

After dinner, we walked to "Senor Paleta".  It is a small joint located in Calle de Tetuán specializes in different flavors of Popsicle.
