2019 Feb 14 - Royal Caribbean Cruise (Bonaire Island, Food, Port)

Bonaire is the 3rd island the cruise visited.

We didn't pre-book any activities.  However we decided to get a taxi trying to watch some flamingos.

Unfortunately, we were told by the taxi driver we should either start really early, or go later in the afternoon for that.  That's when they are least disturbed, which means higher chance to spot them.

He did take us for a tour of the island.

We saw the salt flats, and Oranje Pan.

We did spot one flamingo sleeping, and quite a few in a very far distance (if you can find them from the pictures).

Bonaire, like the other Caribbean islands, has awesome waters.  Awesome waters for diving, not so much white sand beaches for swimming.  We stopped by one of the few white sand beaches.  There are a lot of people wind surfing and sailing in the background.

After the tour, we went back to the port.  The driver suggested "Zeezicht" restaurant.  The services were extremely slow, and the food was very average.  The only dish I liked is the "Creamy Conch Soup with Bread".
