Traffic

Be aware of the traffic!  Highway 4 is the major highway leading to Orlando, and it often backs up.  The day we had to drive to Kissimmee to drop off our daughter with the volleyball team, there was an accident and all lanes on highway 4 was closed.  It took us 3 hours and 40 mins to drive 19 miles.

VRBO Before Tournament

We chose a condo that is close to Discovery Cove to stay before the tournament.  However, the AC unit broke down, the room was super-hot, we had to improvise.

Hotel During Tournament

We stayed in Rosen Plaza, which is one skyway away from the Orlando Orange County Convention Center West concourse.  However, the convention center has 3 concourse - West, North and South.  The volleyball tournament is in North concourse this year, and it is a 25 minutes' walk to get there.  Most of the walk is within the building, but about 10 minutes outside.

The house after the tournament is in Kissimmee with a nice pool.
